The Colors in Parrots
Aside from their “talking” ability, parrots have become favorite avian pets because of their colorful appearance. In most parrot species, the most common color is green.
But, despite this fact, experts say that there is no pigment or tinge of green present in a parrot’s feathers. The only common colors present in most parrots are red and yellow their nature, natural habitat, and the food they eat are believed to contribute to the colors of their feathers.
