Parrots also need exercise. You can let him out for a few minutes each day and make sure that the doors or windows are closed so it doesn’t fly out. Humans brush their teeth while parrots need to clean their beaks. For that, it is best to bring the bird to the vet rather than having him bite your hand.

Aside from food, the parrot must be given fresh water every day. Bird droppings have to be removed on a weekly basis and it must be groomed 2 to 3 times a week. You can even give the parrot a bath by bringing it either to the sink or washtub then using specialized shampoo to keep the bird looking good.
